Shane Allbritton & David Hoffer // 10.15.2015

Join ADCT at Living Arts Gallery to listen to what will definitely be an inspired lecture from two environmental artists who design large-scale public installations that dramatically transform the spaces in which they occupy. The work of these two artists / designers can be found all over the world.

With a degree in fine arts and 18 years of extensive work designing interpretive spaces and interactives for numerous museums and visitors centers, Shane Allbritton bridges the disciplines of visual communication, art, and experience design. Her collaborative work spans a range of projects from comprehensive environmental graphics to art installations, including large scale murals, donor recognition systems, wayfinding, media design, suspended art, sculpture and painting. As a visual storyteller, Shane is interested in creating integrative public art that uses narrative placemaking to enhance the quality of civic space.

David Hoffer specializes in experiential design. His background is at the intersection of communications and the built environment. With an emphasis on architecture and the visitor experience, David develops broad-reaching and integrated solutions that allow an environment to communicate. Through architecture, interior design, brand integration, environmental graphics and wayfinding. David’s multidisciplinary approach to a project creates experiences that inform, direct, educate and delight. In his nearly 20-year career, David has developed strategic solutions for international projects in various disciplines throughout the world. Currently, David is working at Walsh Branding right here in Tulsa’s Brady Arts District.
